Surf Clubs are
not just for surfers. The clubs are there to support the surf life savers
that patrol the beaches of the Gold Coast. The clubs are an excellent way
for the community and visitors to raise the money needed for this
essential service which saves countless lives each year. The surf clubs
are and excellent place to visit for a few drinks and a meal. The prices
are extremely reasonable and most of the surf clubs have an excellent view
over the beach. Here are a list of surf clubs on the Gold Coast:

Palm Beach Surf Life Saving Club located right on the beach looking straight down the sand and over the water. Good bistro with reasonably priced meals.

If you live over 5 kilometers away from a Surf Club you can enter as a visitor. You will need to show photo identification, either a drivers licence or passport to prove you live outside the 5 kilometer area. If you live within the 5 kilometer radius you will need to join as a member. Most surf clubs on the Gold Coast have a very low membership cost per year (around $10 - $20) and this gives you discounts of the drinks.

Kurrawa Surf Club is located at the end of Victoria Mall Broadbeach Gold Coast. The club has tables and chairs looking straight out over the beach. With a bar and bistro serving reasonable priced meals.
