How to get to the Gold Coast

The Gold Coast airport is located at Coolangatta and has domestic flights and some international flights to Japan, New Zealand and Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.

Airlines that service Coolangatta Airport include Jetstar, Virgin Blue, Tiger Airways and Air Asia.

There are regular buses from Coolangatta airport going north and south.

5. Dream World and Wet N Wild Theme Parks. Dream World has some of the best roller coasters and action rides while Wet N Wild has the highest and faster water slides in Australia.

6. Fishing - As well as the spectacular beaches the Gold Coast is made up of a series of waterways including rivers, canals and lagoons with plenty of great fishing spots. Or take a fishing charter out for some deep sea fishing.

7. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary visit some of Australia's animal and bird life including kangaroos, koala bears, reptiles and emus.
