  Costa D'oro Italian Restaurant Reviews

Review submitted 5th November 2011 - by Scott from Sydney

I went in to Costa D'oro for a leisurely Saturday lunch. I ordered some garlic bread and the inferno pizza. The pizza arrived after about 10 minutes - no garlic bread ever arrived though surprisingly it didn't appear on the bill. How the waitress missed this I do not know. The pizza was a bit over cooked (see picture above) though still tasted pretty good and was nice and spicy. I ordered the Tiramasu for dessert which was nice but not real traditional Italian dessert with it soaked in alcohol. Unfortunately early evening the spicy pizza I had eaten decided to make a quick reappearance to the world, without much warning and it's true things are hotter on the way out than on the way in - like the Johnny Cash song 'The Ring of Fire'. Good service though it's been a long time since i've had an upset stomach like that one!

Have you dined at Costa D'oro Italian Restaurant Surfers Paradise Gold Coast?
