Restaurant Reviews Review submitted 4th March 2013 - from Theresa I had Yum Cha with my fiancé this afternoon and we liked it. We asked for 3 types of sauce and they gave us more than enough. Yum cha tasted nice. We had no problem at all. We definitely will come back again. Review submitted 23rd August 2012 - from Ken J I had yum char at this establishment today & I dearly wish I had not. I've eaten yum cha in Perth, Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, & the Valley & never have I had such a disgusting meal. The calamari was pure rubber-overcooked with a soggy batter on it, the dumplings were hard, rubbery & had obviously been in the steamer for a long while, a satay chicken skewer was simply awful with a mayo dressing, the chicken being like an old boot. Decor is a shocker, the carpet was filthy, the chairs definitely not for sitting on for more than a few minutes being a piece of timber, the table cloth was a tatty piece of plastic coloured gold, tea was served in small teapots & we had to get 3 refills for 3 people. Without doubt this was the worst I've experienced ever & needless to say we won't be back Review submitted 2nd April 2010 - from Scott This is good quality Chinese food. I ordered Sichuan chicken and was really nice and spicy. Funny watching the young waitresses and waiters running to the kitchen when the bell rings. Obviously the chef has them trained well.
