Balkan on Broad Restaurant

If you want fantastic tasting food that is soooo yummy, definitely go to this restaurant. The meal servings are more than generous and it is well worth the money. The service is very personalised, friendly and inviting.

This is the only place I will visit again when I next stay at the Gold Coast.

1: if you like meat then this is it full stop! forget about these steak places Serbs are the kings of meat. 2:you will not leave hungry guaranteed 3:great value for money. i don't know what people are winging about the service for! you walk in sit down have a couple of drinks and the food comes out 30 to 45min later what more do you want a massage? anyway a suggestion get the mixed grill and the cheese burek on the side with the mixed grill skip the entree.

we happened to walk past the restaurant during the day and found out it was opened for lunch. every dish on the menu was $10 and at first we were sceptical. i had the Balkan burger which was fantastic and the rosemary salted chips were really good. my partner had the squid which was so tender. the portions were filling and we would definitely go again.

I came all the way from Sydney with my family and we were looking forward too the experience as we are Macedonian but unfortunately the food was bad very expensive if you decide to greet customers from half way across the county you should consider having a spectacular Serbian cuisine so people from across Australia can be delighted to have visited your restaurant

Nice and relaxed restaurant, good and quick service with great food, main meal is so so big we took some home. We will go back any time.

Service was way too slow - quite pricey for what you get - don't leave for dinner without your American Express !!!

After a long and meaningful relationship with The Balkan restaurant in Paddington (Sydney) finding an establishment of similar menu on the Gold Coast was an exciting prospect. Unfortunately it did not deliver to my high expectations. While the food was good to very good and the service friendly, the wait between entree and main of well over an hour soured an otherwise great night out. Perhaps it was because of ordering the POS (pig on spit) but I will never know cause an apology or excuse for the tardiness was never offered. Good food but don't if you have to be somewhere else after dinner find an alternative.

Nice and relaxed, good service. The mixed grill was to die for. Here's a hint don't have entree it is so big. I took some home in a doggie bag.
